A North Carolina native Pastor Hille graduated from Capital University in Columbus, OH with a BA in Radio/TV/Film and a minor in Journalism.
He went on to earn his M.Div at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, before accepting his first call in Connecticut.
After a decade in New England he now lives in the Buckeye State, currently serving as Pastor of Faith Lutheran Church in Whitehall, OH
as well as Interim Campus Pastor and adjunct faculty at Capital University.
Pastor Hille serves on a number of teams in the Southern Ohio Synod including the Revitalizing Congregations Collaborative, and the Vibrant Church Conference where he has presented numerous times.
In 2021 his "Worship Companion" series was awarded "Best Collaborative Worship Resource" by the Synod's Outside the Box Team.
In 2022 he began the Faith Lutheran Church "Run To Church 5k," an annual event that raises funds for different community partners.
Pastor Hille has developed a wide "Do It Yourself" skill set rooting ministry in the local context. He has created community 5ks, developed a cross cultural mission trip experience, led international mission teams to Romania, as well as written multiple Vacation Bible School curriculums and Christmas pageants.
Pastor Hille seeks to inspire congregations of all sizes to engage in natural and dynamic ministry. His goal is to help churches understand their parameters, assets, and stories empowering congregations to better communicate the power of what God is doing in their communities.
